Shahrukh Khan starrer Pravesh C. Mehra, producer of films such as Miracle (1992) and Ram Jaane (1995), has passed away. He had been battling Kovid-19 for about a month. According to reports, at the 4 pm Friday, he breathed his last at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai.
Owned Minerva Cinema for many years
Pravesh C Mehra was 71 years old. He is survived by a son and daughter, an elder sister and three younger brothers Umesh, Rajesh and Rajiv. He has been the owner of Mumbai’s famous Minerva cinema for a long time, where the 1975 superhit film ‘Sholay’ was on for 5 years.

Apart from ‘Miracle’ and ‘Ram Jaane’, Pravesh C. Mehra has written ‘Salakhen’ (1975), ‘Ashanti’ (1982), ‘Aakhri Adalat’ (1988), ‘Shikari: The Hunter’ (1991) and ‘Qila’ (1998) films were also produced.
